Hi All,

I had a problem of Slowness in EXPDP, so we have decided to use parallel option and the symbol of .%u to split the export dump file into many files.

Now the speed is good. But the problem is when we just want to import a particular object, then how we can come to know which dump file among many have that particular object.

How we can find it out.

Regards
Muktha

You you can't know this, you have to give/name all the files to Oracle and import itself will know in which files are the segments you want.

Hi Michel,

I didn't mean that,

I was trying like dumpfile=dump01.dmp,dump02.dmp,dump03.dmp

Thanks and Regards
Muktha
