i have installed oracle 10g developer suite, i want to run the report from Desktop using shorcut from report. i want to open the report with the paramter form, select parameter from list and then run the report,whether it is RDF or .Jsp report.i have no application server only Developer 10 g setting i want to run ..? how i can do this?

I think that you can't, not any more (as you could have with the 6i version).

Than what is the solution for that?????
is there any method to run report without using oracle form?
and is there need to configure report server in developer 10g?
please detail need?
from shorcut i means the internet Explorer shorcut where target address is set

As far as I can tell, Developer Suite 9i onwards runs on web. Browser lets you access your application, but you have to have an application server which runs forms and reports services. Unless you have it (IAS), you can't run such an application (not a form, not a report).

That would be a "solution" you are looking for. Not very user-friendly, but that's how it is.

Perhaps someone else will know better.
