Hai friends,
i have an oracle 9i enterprised edition.
We have to work on a small project which details with
display of some information from oracle, some screens for
maintaining the info and for modifying the information.
Regarding backend we dont have any problem.
we have few doubts about the frontend.
Can we use HTML Alone as frontend to do this project?
It is an inhouse project. When i was checking for the packages
available,we observed a package UTL_HTTP.Will it be helpful
for us?
Kindly send ur suggestions as how can we go ahead with this work?

Thanks in Advance

Yes, use can either just use packages and procedures, or you can use PSP (pl/sql server pages which are similar to JSP and ASP). PSP is limited to stored procedures. An oracle utility takes the PSP file and converts it into a stored procedure.

See http://www.orafaq.net/faqweb.htm for info on pre 9i stuff.
