I need to transfer data and table structure from MSAccess directly to Oracle (that's the way my supervisor wants it done). Does the Migration tool export table structure as well as the data? If not, how can I export the table definitions?

Hi,
You can directly export access table to oracle
including definition using odbc.....

Create a Data Source Name(DSN) using
microsoft odbc driver for oracle.
For this you must have oracle client installed in your PC.....

For creating a system DSN
you have to provide a name for the DSN
and user name(oracle user id)
and service name: oracle global database name....

Now from MS Access you can export table as external table/file
there select odbc and then select the DSN you have created. You will be prompted to enter the password(oracle).

thats it you will have your table exported directly to oracle..........
