Dears,

I am facing a problem while updating the accounting setup for a ledgerin GL when entering the retained account "Your retained eraning accounts must be a balance sheet account".
Please help me to solve the problem as i cannot able to find any solution on the internet .I appreciate if you can check this error and provide me the solution and revert me back.
PLEASE FIND ATTACHED THE ERROR FOR YOUR REFERNCE

As the error says, you may be using the account segment, which is not intend for this.
Check this.

Dears ,

I didn't understand what you have suggested me, can you please provide me a snapshot or steps to fix the issue.
Please note that I have used Natural account qualifier on the account segment and I am not able to understand what is the issue.
Please help me to solve the problem.

Hi,

Retained Account should be non-expense and non-revenue account. Please check your account type.

Dear yknev ,

Please note that my account type is already non revenue and no expense. I am using ownership type for retained earning account.
Please find attached is the snapshot for your refernce.
Please if you can send me the snapshot or steps to solve the issue.

Hi Shery,


Create New account with account type is Owership/Stockhold and please assign the same account at Retained Earnings Field.
