Hello everyone and forgive me for my newbie questions 
when I set Metric Thresholds via OEM (11gR2) there are some metrics that let me set set a Collection Schedule for them and other metrics which don't have that option.
Does it mean those metrics are collected in real time ? is there a way to change that default behavior ?
And on another subject, regarding the Oracle metric threshold alerts I can see and set in the OEM.
a. Are those alerts always reflect the ones that the alert.log contains, or they are kept in another place ?
b. is there a way to purge/clear those which I don't want to see from the Home page without fixing the problem
