hii...
i am new one in oracle...
i have two os window xp and linux
i want to run pl/sql through linux editors.
for this i have download putty software but i am unable to ...how to configure putty on my local server..
please give me guidelines for to establish connection between two os window xp and linux

on which system does Oracle database reside?

can both systems ping the other?

can remote client tnsping DB Server?
