Good Day to All!

Inherited a report created in 6i (works fine) and learned it doesn't correctly display in 10g! (Example attached) Cell frames do not print when there's no info to display, leaving blank gaps in the report. Is this a bug or something in Reports 10g that's causing the problem?

Thanks in advance,

V

Is there a Format Trigger on that field?

Thanks for the reply Littlefoot. There aren't any Format Triggers on any of the fields.

Did you try to recompile the report (all) (Ctrl + Shift + K) in Builder 10g?

Try the following: open the report, go to Paper Layout Editor and delete that field, completely. Then draw it back, set its source, blabla - shortly, make it look like the original (you just deleted). Then recompile the report and run it. Any improvement?

did something out of the ordinary...(also altered the layout - see attached file)

created an empty frame over guilty cells
changed print frequency to "All Pages"
Bring to Front

outcome was as it should be, though it shouldn't be done this way. BTW, I did this in 6i because 10g, after several attempts, would give a "Terminate_with_Error.frm-41214" Mad Mad Mad

Congratulations! You did it! True, it was a huge workAROUND, but never mind - the result is here!
