I have a report which i export into excel file,now i want -->
if i export my report into excel file then it (excel file) should automatically saved to my c drive.Please entertain.

When you select the option SAVE AS, don't you see the location to copy in your local machine?

That is an option in excel file,but i don't have to operate excel file. Simply i want to download or export that report in excel format in my c drive.
hope you understand what i wants.

I don't work much with reports, however, as far as I know, there are parameters to achieve the task.

I hope I am correct with this information, give it a try -

DESFORMAT=<filetype> DESTYPE=<FILE> DESNAME=<C:\file_name.file_type>

For CSV or excel, DESFORMAT should be DELIMITED.

Let me know if it works for you(I don't have reports to validate right now).

Thanks for your opinion...
This will generate whole report into excel but i simply want some columns (its tabular report) to be there into excel file,there is no option for restrict some data from report to be converted into excel.

No there's no option for that, it's not something that people standardly do.
