try to install 11i from a staging environment.
then there is no question of it asking any cd
to be inserted.

I have encountered this problem and repeated
attempts have yeilded positive results. try
to log into another window as SU and try
to eject.

best is to go for a stage which may need some
6-7 GB of space.
