We are trying to set up 9i Portal on a 9iAS for the first time. Our purpose is to have the portal provide to users cached Discoverer9i Viewer workbooks running against the database of our 11i Apps.
We would like to have the user log into a 9i Portal group using their 11i Apps ID & password. Can anyone tell me if this is possible? Is this type of functionality part of the 9i Portal's single sign-on (SSO) capabilities?
And if this functionality exists, then can the 11i Apps ID be used to enforce Discoverer workbook security when accessed thru 9i Viewer or 9i Portal?
