Ora apps version : 11.5.8
We are working on a custom form, which invokes a custom Descriptive FLex field.
The DFF Segment is defined as a Global Data Element. The segments is enabled and display is ON.
Attribute1 column in TEST_TABLE is being used.
The table and all the columns in the table have been registered using AD_DD.REGISTER_ packages.
Now, when i click on the DFF area in the oracle apps form,
the DFF prompt window pops-up. But the text entry area is greyed out. When i right click on the greyed out text area(in the DFF popup window), i get an error : " field protected against update". There is no error number.
If i enter a value in attribute1 column through backend, i am able to see the value through the DFF popup, but im not able to update or insert the value. Any inputs to enable the DFF is highly appreciated.
