Hi,

I'm having a 9i RAC database with two nodes,in one node(having 8 CPUs),paging activity is very high it goes to 80%(whenever the database is up,otherwise it'll be around 40%),but in another node there is no high paging activity. What i've to do to avoid high paging activity? This is the first time I'm facing this problem, someone please guide me to sort out this problem.

The platform is AIX & database files is in RAW file system.

Thanks,
Gajini

The database is probably using too much memory. Down tune your init.ora/spfile parameters.
