In Requisiton window source details tab region document type as Quotation. what is the funcionality?

Hi Ramesh,
According to me the Quotation in Source Document type states that you are creating a requistion after getting a valid quotation.And your giving the buyer the Quotation name for reference.

I hope some one who are well aware on Purchasing comment my answer.
