Hi
Since today morning, I notice the following lines in alert.log. Is this a problem
kccrsz: expanded controlfile section 9 from 226 to 453 records
requested to grow by 2 record(s); added 1 block(s) of records
pls. help

Hi,
Section 9 is related to log history. Control_file_record_keep_time define for how many days log_history should be retained. In your cause because of number of redo log switching is high, oracle not able find rewritable record in section 9 of controlfile. So it is expanding this controlfile to accomodate this new record.
This is espected behaviour.
