Mainly Balanacing segment has 3 roles to pay
1) wether Dr balanaces = Cr balances
2) validation with in segments
3) flexfield qualifier
can any body plz explain pts 2 and 3.

Devi,
A qualifier is an attribute on a key flexfield segment that specifies what the role of the segment is. For the accounting flexfield this can be that it is the balancing segment, the cost centre, a counterpart (for internal trade) or the natural account.
When it comes to validation within segments I am not completely sure what you are referring to. If I should hazard a guess it is that the legal values of some of the other segments might depend on the balancing segment. For example it is not unusual that the cost centre segment is implemented using a dependent value set on the balancing segment as the same profit centre rarely exists in multiple divisions.
