Hi folks,
I am working on template.fmb.I have developed a copy functionality.
Here if the existing name is given in the copy block,it should validate fromn table and should restrict the user in saving the existing one.

can you please provide some inputs to write the logic?

Could you use something that Oracle (and many other databases) provide by default (instead of developing your own solution)? Create UNIQUE CONSTRAINT on the 'name' column.
