Hi All

I'm still new on Custom PLL development I'm trying to edit a form on Oracle Business suit ,this is what i'm trying to do I've got this fields eg.

feild1 --> Project_name;
feild2 --> Task_name;

what i want to do is, if you select a Project eg. project1 it should limit the Task to only display the Task under Project1 only not all the Task.

hope this make sense.

hi,

using custom.pll to change may be bit hard to do, rather we can personalize the form using the help menu-->personalize.

In Oracle Forms an LOV is associated with a record group which again is based on a SQL query. You should be able to do what you want by altering the record group.

I do not have the syntax in my head, but you should be able to figure it out by reviewing the Oracle Forms built-ins that you can find in the online help in Forms Builder.
