Hi
After payable trasfer to GL,paticular entry is showing in next period.But in that paricular period no entries in my payable
system.Although the particular invoice is adjusted with prepayment after that
it is cancelled .It is showing in the distribution lines, particular invoice
date(gl date 01-mar-07) but the prepayment invoice date is 01-apr-07.

If you applied the prepayment to the invoice in April, it correct that transfer to GL generates journal entries for the prepayment application in april, while journal entries for the invoice are in march.
I think there's nothing wrong, but maybe I didn't understand well the issue.
