Hi
Please help me!

Under the Systems Administrators responsibility there is the foll:

Profile --> System Profile Values.

Apparently there are ATTRIBUTES that are defined within this window. My question is - is the ATTRIBUTE generally defined specifically for each company and is there a way I can look up what each ATTRIBUTE relates to? Eg. ATTRIBUTE7 - How can I find out what this ATTRIBUTE relates to?

Have a look at the System Administrator's Guide, which you can download from http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/applications.html. In 11.5.10 there are 3 guides, but in 11.5.9, there is only one, which I searched using "System Profile Values" and found that Chapter 11 gave a good explanation of System Profile Values and how to use them.

As for ATTRIBUTEs, they will vary from application to application. I suggest that you open the User Guide for the application that concerns you and search for "ATTRIBUTE".

If that doesn't help, try searching MetaLink at https://metalink.oracle.com
